The feedback I received for my song exploder demo was essentially 3 things, lock in musicians to play on the track, work out which key to put the song in and to make some minor touching ups to the track.

Before heading into Wednesday's class I already had a fairly solid idea of how I wanted the song to form and sound, I had a basic version of a demo which hasn't really changed much since then other than adding in a new bridge section and a new solo section, but my vision for guitar tones and drum sound has stayed the same. For the bridge section, I intended to have a section that was in half time, to add in a different section after listening to the sound of distorted guitars, the inspiration for this section comes from Geek USA off Siamese Dream, the album I'm using as a reference for the project.

As far as musicians go I have locked in a drummer, bass player, vocalist and I will be playing the guitars myself.

Over the next few weeks to finalize the demo and what will happen in the song, I will spend time writing guitar leads so that when I go into the studio to record I know exactly what I will be playing and will not have to be making parts up on the spot.

I plan on having drums recorded before the class on Wednesday the 19th, then recording bass and vocals in the Wednesday session. Then spending Thursday and Friday recording guitars at SAE.

This week I have spent my 18 hrs fixing up the demo to be presentable and clear to the musicians in sending it to.
